Achieving her childhood dream of a career in architecture, Shahrina Afrin brings a background and education in both architecture and interior architecture to the DFDG team.
She is already at work on one of DFDG’s higher education projects, providing architectural support, and looking forward to working as part of the interiors team as it progresses.
The environment and sustainability have also been a focus of Shahrina’s career as a designer. She believes the evolution of design materials and technologies can give architects endless opportunities to design sustainable and healthy living spaces.
As she continues in the field, she hopes to see architecture progress further to provide eco-friendly designs and more functional environments. “Because of the evolution of design materials, we can give so much more back through design and the use of sustainable materials and healthy interiors.”
