Eastern Arizona College’s Advanced Technology Fabrication Lab Prepares Career and Technical Education Students for Success

We are devoted to the design and advancement of educational spaces, and this February, we want to recognize Career and Technical Education Month® with our project for Eastern Arizona College – Entrepreneurial Resource Center in Thatcher, Arizona.

For this 1960s era industrial education building, the DFDG team worked closely with the College to functionally update the existing welding, machine, and wood shops as well as reconfigure and refresh their faculty offices and classroom areas, bringing them up to current technology standards. The team also designed a new 2,500-sf Advanced Technology Fabrication Lab building — a small-scale digital fabrication laboratory set up to inspire students to turn their ideas into new products and prototypes by giving the students access to a range of advanced digital manufacturing technology.

We love being a part of projects like the EAC Fab Lab that prepare learners for college and career success!
