Chris attended Arizona State University for both undergraduate and graduate studies, earning professional degrees in both Landscape Architecture and Architecture. This combination allows him to approach projects from a different perspective while lending his experience and expertise in the Landscape Architecture profession to the equally diverse skillset of the DFDG team.
Chris brings a passion for creative and innovative design coupled with a strong sense of functionality and sustainability that allows him to deliver the quality of project that DFDG is known for.

What do you do in your free time?
I love to go hiking and fishing, and just being outdoors in general. I also love listening to music and playing one of my many guitars.
What architect do you admire?
- Tom Kundig, David Lake + Ted Flato – For their abilities to seamlessly integrate a building into the surrounding landscape and creating a sense of place
- Tadao Ando – For his sculptural use of concrete
- Bjarke Ingels and Rem Koolhaas – For their ability to push the envelope of the profession
- Christy Ten Eyck – Because Landscape Architects are Architects too.
