Rio Salado College envisioned providing adaptable educational opportunities for the community while transforming Queen Creek’s town center into a thriving economic hub. Developed in partnership with the Town of Queen Creek, this instructional and testing support facility is located adjacent to the Queen Creek Library and includes classrooms, testing areas, student services, administrative and support spaces, and a community room.
The building’s orientation emphasizes creating a connection between the library and the community room, enhancing the neighborhood’s identity. The interior and exterior materials extend the design of the library, resulting in a unified development that underscores the importance of the town partnership and community focus.
The shared function space is versatile, allowing for various classes and computer labs in flexible areas that can be easily rearranged to accommodate different learning styles and class sizes.
