Cornerstone Church Building E transforms everyday spaces into extraordinary adventures, exciting young minds with its immersive blend of jungle trails and cosmic voyages. This 24,500-square-foot facility is designed to captivate young explorers through its one-of-a-kind archaeological and future/space-inspired interiors, uniting immersive fun with church and community-focused functionality.
This dynamic venue is tailored for elementary after-school programs and church activities, ensuring every corner sparks engagement. Two themed auditoriums are the heart of the experience. Kids can travel to a galaxy far away by sliding down a spacecraft-inspired slide or climb into an adventurous jungle setting through a playful treehouse structure. These carefully crafted themed details, designed by Storyland Studios, ensure that every visit feels like a new adventure.
Sixteen versatile classrooms, including soundproofed areas for younger participants, foster learning and creativity. Moveable walls, mobile AV setups, and dynamic lighting make it easy to customize the space for events, programs, or gatherings. The facility also features a staff breakroom and subtly themed restrooms, rounding out the design to balance whimsy with practicality.
Cornerstone Church Building D isn’t just a building; it’s a launchpad for kids’ imaginations and community connection. Whether they’re setting off on a space mission, discovering hidden treasures of the past, or simply learning, this space invites them to dream big, while also bringing together church and community connection.
Cornerstone Church Building E building serves as a dedicated space for elementary after-school programs and church activities, featuring immersive themed interiors that combine imaginative exploration with community-focused functionality.
The building is designed around two distinct thematic worlds: an archaeological/jungle adventure theme and a future/space exploration theme. These aren’t surface-level decorations , they are fully immersive environments created in collaboration with Storyland Studios, the design firm known for creating experiential themed environments. Kids can slide down a spacecraft-inspired slide or climb through a playful jungle treehouse, with every detail crafted to make each visit feel like a new adventure.
Building E includes two themed auditoriums, sixteen versatile classrooms, moveable walls, mobile AV setups, dynamic lighting systems, a staff breakroom, and subtly themed restrooms. The flexible infrastructure allows the space to be configured for a wide range of programs, events, and gatherings.
The immersive themed elements were designed by Storyland Studios, specialists in experiential and themed environment design. DFDG Architecture integrated the Storyland Studios concepts into the building’s architecture, ensuring the themed elements were seamlessly embedded rather than applied as an afterthought.
While the building is primarily designed for children’s programming, its flexible spaces, moveable walls, and configurable technology make it equally useful for community events, church gatherings, and other programming. The design balances the high-energy, imagination-first needs of kids with the practical requirements of a multi-use community facility.
