When Varitec Solutions outgrew what their old space could offer, DFDG worked with the Varitec Solutions team to design something better. A former medical office building became the foundation for a headquarters that reflects who Varitec is today and where they are headed. The 36,500-SF renovation and expansion reimagined the entire facility as a modern workplace and training hub built around the way their teams actually work.

Inside, the transformation is felt immediately. Ergonomic workstations, hoteling spaces for field technicians and visitors, and phone booth rooms for focused work sit alongside open collaborative areas that bring people together. The signature executive boardroom anchors the space with intention, using switchglass technology to shift between open transparency and complete privacy without sacrificing the clean, modern aesthetic Varitec wanted throughout.

Training environments with raised access flooring, flexible meeting spaces, and breakroom-adjacent collaboration areas round out a workplace designed to support Varitec’s day-to-day energy and long-term growth. A neutral material palette layered with texture and pattern was intentionally designed to evolve alongside the company’s identity during its transition under Daikin, allowing both Varitec’s recognizable lime green and Daikin’s vibrant cyan branding to integrate naturally throughout the space over time.
